Police in Mzimba have arrested two men, identified as Typing Lungu, 44, and Angel Thole, 27, for alleged burglary and theft within Mzimba Trading Centre.

Mzimba Police Spokesperson Maria Banda said police have since recovered a motorcycle, a plasma screen, one large speaker, and assorted items.

Banda added that investigations are still ongoing to recover other stolen property, which is valued at K10.2 million.

The suspects will be paraded to court soon.

Typing Lungu hails from Basopu Village, Traditional Authority Chindi, while Angel Thole is from Chikomeni Village, Traditional Authority Mzikubola, both in Mzimba District.
