Patience Namadingo has concluded talks with officials from the Mangochi Local Government Council, which she described as successful.

Namadingo said the officials asked her to submit a formal letter and follow the necessary procedures, which she has done.

According to Namadingo, the officials informed her that there are nine damaged vehicles — five of which the council is already repairing — while the remaining four may be handed over to her for repairs.

Mangochi District Commissioner, Davie Chigwenembe, commended Namadingo for the initiative, noting that the council is indeed in need of assistance.

However, Chigwenembe added that he could not confirm whether the council would hand over the vehicles to Namadingo, stating that the final decision would depend on procedural regulations the council must follow in such cases.
