
Police Assure Maximum Security Ahead of September Polls in Blantyre

Blantyre Police have pledged to provide maximum security ahead of the upcoming polls scheduled for September, easing public concerns over potential unrest during the election period.
Speaking during a Station Executive Committee meeting in Blantyre, Assistant Officer-In-Charge Aubrey Kawale assured residents that the Police are fully prepared to maintain law and order throughout the city.
“There is no need for Blantyre residents to worry about security. Police will ensure orderliness in the city,” said Kawale.
Echoing the sentiments, committee chairperson Godfrey Mobiha emphasized the importance of public cooperation with the Police to ensure a peaceful election process.
Mobiha also encouraged communities to work closely with law enforcement for the common goal of maintaining peace and security.
