Voting activities have come to a standstill in Dowa Ngala following protests from angry residents demanding a suspension of the electoral process due to suspected irregularities.

The concerned residents are questioning why Natola Ward seems to have more polling areas than expected, in contrast to Linthembwe Ward, which they believe should have had more.

They suspect this discrepancy may be a deliberate move to favor a specific candidate competing for the councilors position.

At present, it’s unclear when calm will return to the area, as electoral officials appear overwhelmed and uncertain about how to proceed.
