PRESIDENT CHAKWERA TO OPEN TOURISM EXPO IN LILONGWE

President Lazarus Chakwera is today April 24,2025, expected to open the “Takulandilani” Malawi International Tourism Expo at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
This was announced in a public statement signed by Collen Zamba, the Secretary to the president and cabinet. The Expo is a big event where Malawi shows off its tourism attractions to visitors and investors from around the world.
Commending on the development Minister of Tourism Vera Kamtukule cited that “the president’s presence will show how serious the government is about growing the tourism industry.”
The event is expected to bring people from different countries to learn more about what Malawi has to offer, its beauty nature, wildlife and culture.
