Speeding Driver Hits and Kills Toddler in Kasungu

A three-year-old boy, Blessings Madalite, has died after being hit by a car in Kasungu District.
According to the district police spokesperson, Chifundo Nedi, the accident occurred on the 27th. Ms. Sara Kamanga, who was driving a Volkswagen Saloon with registration number 8299 and is from the Gundani Sub-Police Station area, reportedly hit the boy due to speeding, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle.
The child sustained severe head and chest injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Ms. Kamanga is expected to appear in court soon to face charges related to the incident.
