A heavily pregnant woman has been found dead inside a river after womb raiders cut off her baby from inside her.

The body of Savanna Lafontaine-Greywind was found dumped in the river
The body of a missing mum-to-be has been found dumped in a river, Daily Star UK reports.
Savanna Lafontaine-Greywind was found ‘wrapped in plastic after “womb raiders” stole her baby by cutting it out of her’.
The 22-year-old’s body was pulled out of the Red River on Sunday night – close to the bridge that connects North Dakota and Minnesota.
She had disappeared on August 18 when she said she was going to a neighbour’s house. She was eight months pregnant.
Police say her body was wrapped in a plastic bag and stuck on a log in the river.
It is suspected she may have been the victim of “womb raiders”, the New York Daily News reported.
A few days before cops discovered Savanna’s body, a newborn baby girl was found in her neighbour’s apartment.
Fargo police said they have arrested William Henry Hoehn, 32, and Brooke Lynn Crews, 38, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
Speaking in a video posted to the Fargo Police Department’s Facebook page, Chief David Todd said the infant would be DNA tested to confirm it was Savannah’s child.
Savanna – a nursing assistant – lived with her parents and brother.
She was last seen leaving an apartment in Fargo, North Dakota, to help an upstairs neighbour by modelling a dress she was sewing.
Police are investigating a number of possibilities, including whether the child was taken from her womb.
Savannah’s mum Norberta told WDAY-TV that her daughter was “very excited” about the child she was expecting with boyfriend Ashton Matheny and was due to give birth in late September.
The couple had also just signed a lease on a flat in North Fargo and planned to move there on September 1.
A cause of death has not been established.
