Several passengers have sustained serious injuries after a minibus they were travelling overturned at Mtengo wa Thenga in the capital Lilongwe.
The accident comes barely days after another accident involving an Axa Coach in the commercial capital Blantyre with 40 students from Kamuzu Academy in Kasungu which led to the death of one person.
According to an eyewitness who rushed to the scene, the accident happened after one of the tires of the minibus burst due to over speeding.
The eyewitness told this publication that passengers sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident.
Meanwhile no death has been reported so far.
