South Africa’s award winning gospel musician Benjamin Dube arrived in the country on Thursday through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) together with his 7 piece band.
Dube is scheduled to perform at Bingu International Conference Centre this evening.
Speaking in an interview with the press after landing at KIA, Dube urged Malawians to come out in large numbers for the show.
“We have been looking forward to this. I feel good and ready, I hope Malawi is ready too. We have been up and about getting ready for the show. We had to go back to old songs like Bow Down and Worship to make sure we accommodate more fans. This is making sure to deliver according to their wishes.
“I brought my own band and made sure I pick both the old and the new. We want to make a fusion of songs from the past and now. Whosoever is here is ready to deliver and that is my promise,” he said in an interview.
Dube said those who will not come will miss out, greatly.
“Come and dig a ditch and don’t let the water to pass you by. We are here to share the blessings God gave us, with Malawians. So fans will see things in a different light,” he explained.
Dube will be supported at the show by local gospel artist, Faith Mussa.
