The former President of Malawi, Dr Joyce Banda, has challenged current President of Malawi Peter Muthalika to come open and let the truth prevail.

The allegations have been revealed through a leaked Ant-corruption Bureau, ACB, report that indicates Muthalika benefited from a k2.8 billion government contract.
The report shows that the supplier deposited k145 million into the Democratic Progressive Party account.
Joyce Banda argued the president not to be distracted by mere talks but stick to the truth and let the investigations clear his name he is not guilty.
She made the remarks when speaking to journalists after a political rally that her People’s Party held at Masintha ground in Lilongwe on Sunday.
ACB has been investigating the Malawi Police food supply contract which was offered to Pioneer investment.
The Company is owned by an Asian-born Malawian business man, Zameer Karim, who reportedly deposited k145 million into Democratic Progressive Party
