Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that three unknown people on Tuesday attempted to confiscates a vehicle belonging to Member of Parliament for Mzimba Hora Reverend Christopher Mzomera Ngwira in Mzuzu.
Recently opposition People’s Party (PP) sued Mzomera Ngwira for clinging to two vehicles and several bicycles he received from the party President Dr. Joyce Banda.
But Ngwira won the case.
The unknown people pounced on two toner lorry in Mzuzu clamming that the vehicle does not belong to him.
The unknown people escaped from the scene after realizing the presence of reporters from various media houses who were taking photos of the chaotic scenes.
Ngwira confirmed of the development in an interview with the press and he accused PP of being behind the incident.
When contacted for comment PP Deputy Spokesperson Ackson Kalaile Banda distanced the party from the matter.
Meanwhile Ngwira has said he will report the matter to police.
