Police in Blantyre have arrested a house maid in Michiru for allegedly concealing birth of her own child, faceofmalawi can reveal.
According to information at hand, the suspect who is yet to be identified was working in Michiru as a house maid and she got pregnant.
But she did not reveal the issue to anyone including her boss.
When time came for her labour, she went to Michiru forest to give birth and leave the child there.
Lucky enough Children who were playing nearby the forest heard the cries and reported the matter to their parents who later reported to Police.
