Veteran musician Lucius Banda who is also Member of Parliament for Balaka North has offered his Condolence message to Prophet Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) church for the untimely death of Gospel artist and worshipper, James Nee and two others.
Nee together with his two colleagues namely Beston Khamba and Brian Grant died on Tuesday after a car they were travelling in collided with a truck.
According to information, the three were coming from a crusade in Malawi.
Writing on his official facebook page, Banda said the death of Nee is a big brawl to the Church.
“My deepest condolences to Papa Mejor One, and the entire ECG family for the painful and untimely death of the humble James and the other two. Having been airborne for the past day and half, l didn’t know. I have worsheped with James and others a few times…. Iiii Ambuye mwatilanda powawa…may their souls rest in peace,” wrote Banda.
On Wednesday, ECG Church led by its founder Prophet Bushiri held a sendoff ceremony in Pretoria South Africa.
The service attracted a number of dignitaries including congregants.
