The evictions in the Big Brother Africa (BBA) Stargame will still go on in the Upville House this Sunday despite the disqualification of Zimbabwean housemates Maneta and Roki.

Maneta and Roki were eliminated from the house on Wednesday after contravening BBA rules.

The two were involved in a scuffle which saw Roki pouring water on Maneta’s head and she apparently poured cleaning fluid on his face.

“Big Brother wishes to advise that evictions will continue this week. Viewers have begun voting and Big Brother wants to respect their contribution in deciding who stays in the house and who leaves,” said a statement sent by MultiChoice Malawi regional manager Titania Katenga Kaunda Wednesday.

The statement, however, did not put much detail especially in the vein that Maneta was one of the housemates among the three, (the others being Ghana’s Keitta and South Africa’s Barbz) who were nominated.

During the disqualification of Ghana’s DKB and Sierra Leone’s Zainab in the Upville, the live show took place with no evictions.

The disqualification of Roki and Maneta has left Zimbabwe with no representative as Maneta’s partner Teclar was also evicted.

Last year in the BBA Amplified Zimbabwe produced a winner, Wendall, who won alongside Nigeria’s Karen.
