The Lilongwe Magistrate Court on Thursday failed to hear the MK 2.7 billion food ration deal involving well-known businessman Zameer Karim where President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika pocked MK150 million.
Karim was arrested last week together with two police top officials who have since been interdicted pending the conclusion of the case.
The case was scheduled to commence yesterday where the Presiding Magistrate was expected to commit the case to High Court.
But the presiding failed to turn up for the case due to the fact that he was in a workshop.
The development did not please Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Reyneck Matemba who accused the Courts of delaying the case.
Meanwhile it is not known as to when the case will commence.
