The vision of President Peter Mutharika to empower young people in this country through technical skills continues as TEVETA is set to handover Kasama Community Technical College in Chitipa district to Government in preparation for the Inauguration of this training facility for the Youth of Chitipa District.
Three more Colleges in Salima, Khwisa in Balaka, Ngabu in Chikwawa are near completion.
The Chinese contractors are on Sakata in Zomba and Chitambi in Mulanje before going to Mzimba, Tengani in Nsanje and Ntonda in Ntcheu,bringing to 23 Colleges that will be completed in Five months time.
According to TIVETA Board Chairperson Gilbert Chilinde,other colleges under construction are Mgayi at Nathenje in Lilongwe, Kasungu at Kasungu Boma behind Kasungu Town Hall, Nkhatabay Old Hospital in Nkhatabay, Likoma Island and Zolokere in Rumphi.
