Annie Lule, a sister to an albino abduction suspect, Buleya Lule, who was found dead in police cell on Thursday morning has accused the law enforcers of killing her relative.

Lule was arrested in relation to the missing of a teenage boy with albinism, Goodson Makanjira, from Dedza.

Speaking in an interview with the press on Thursday Annie said her brother was in good health when the police arrested him.

“My brother was in good health. He didn’t complain of anything and for the police to say he was ill this is a total lie. The police have killed him,” she said.

On his part, late Buleya’s brother said his relative died in police cell and not at Kamuzu Central Hospital as alleged by police.

“I saw police officers moving my brother from police cell on cell on a stretcher to KCH on Monday evening and they refused us from seeing him that day saying time was up,” he said.

National Police Spokesperson Kingsley Dandaula said the suspect, Buleya Luka died after he complained of an illness.

Meanwhile photos have imaged on the social media showing Buleya’s body have wounds on the thigh and the back.
