Two people have died in Limbe yesterday after a stack of Aluminum glasses fell on them while offloading from a track.
The owner of the track, Mr Jiantao Dai who is a Chinese national reported to police that on that day, he assigned the two deceased persons to a piece work to offload aluminum glasses from his truck registration number AAK9575F.
While in the course of doing the work, a stack of about fifty glasses fell on them and they sustained serious head injuries and multiple deep cuts on the neck and they died on the spot.
Police visited the scene of the accident and took the bodies to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.
Meanwhile, investigations are underway to trace the relatives of the deceased persons.
