Unidentified Body at Machinga Hospital after Being Hit by Train

Unknown male person has been hit to death by a fast moving train at Liwonde Railway Bridge near Conduril Company.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday at around 00:15hrs.

Mr Mussa who is a healthy and safety administrator reported to police that the body was cut into pieces soon after being hit by the train which was going to Nayuchi.

A post mortem done at Machinga district hospital showed that the death was due to severe hemorrhage secondary to several abdomen and backbone cuts.

Meanwhile, the body is being kept at the said facility pending for identification.
