Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) running mate Everton Chimulirenji, on Sunday Invaded Chiradzulu district accompanied by Joseph Mwananveka campaigning for DPP ahead of May 21 polls.

In his speeches Chimulirenji quashed nepotism critics saying DPP government treats every tribe equally.

However Chimulirenji dismissed the allegations saying all tribes are found in all government departments’.

“If you look at the civil service, you would find that people of all cultural backgrounds are there. Talk of ministries, departments and agencies. So please stop circulating rumors we are one people,” said Chimulirenji.

Opposition parties and clergy’s have been questioning Mutharika’s administration for promoting nepotism.

In his remarks Mwananveka who is the hopeful Member of Parliament said he has no political enemy but rather his task is to transform Chiradzulu South.

He further promised to continue developing Chiradzulo south constituency once voted again into power.
