Three children have been confirmed dead after a speeding minibus run over them as they were trying to cross a road to join a victory match for president elect Peter Mutharika in Thyolo.
Eye witnesses said the three children died immediately after the minibus registration number TO8441 run over them.
Currently the driver of the minibus is battling for his life at Thyolo district hospital after angry people beat him up for causing the accident.
One of the deceased children is recognized as Rachel Dyson 11 years old and the other two are below 11.
The victory much shortly ended after the fatal accident.
