United Democratic Front (UDF) say they will meet to consider if it is appropriate to enter into partnership with any other political party.

This has been said by the party’s spokesperson Ken Ndanga.

Before May 21 elections UDF was in a partnership with the ruling Democratic Progressive party (DPP).

Ndanga said the party will consider if it is appropriate to re-enter into partnership with DPP or any other political party.

Ndanga continued by saying that the party wants to make a decision that will not bring divisions to the party.

But political expert, Rafik Hajat, has since cautioned UDF to tread carefully saying the coalition with the DPP government in the past Five years has simply weakened the party.
