Malawi will start camping next week ahead of their clash with Ghana for a slot at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Flames will take on the Black Stars in the second-leg of the final qualifier in Lilongwe next month.

Coach Kinnah Phiri will start an early camp to ensure that they overturn the 2-0 deficit from the first-leg.

Malawi will start their camping on 23 September to ensure that they have good team spirit and tactics well rehearsed for the game.

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah doesn’t have that luxury of long camping because most of his players play their trade in Europe.

The players, according to FIFA rules, must be released seven days before a qualifier.
