A 24-year-old man, has been arrested for allegedly attempting to sell his two children in Kasungu.
Kasungu police spokesperson Miracle Mikozi confirmed the development saying the suspect, Edwin Banda wanted to sell the children at K2 million and 1.8 million respectively.
Mikozi said the suspect offered the children to a businessperson Peter Ng’oma at Chatomola trading Centre.
Banda was arrested after the purpoted buyer alerted law enforcers.
Banda is expected to answer the charge of conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
