Blantyre residents are advised to brace themselves for a day of little or no water at all.
A statement from the Blantyre Water Board-BWB that Capital FM has seen reveals that the development is as a result of planned maintenance works by electricity provider, ESCOM.
The power company will be working on its transformer that drives water to Walkers Ferry Pumping Station.
Following the development pumping at Walkers Ferry will be reduced to half-load which is 50 percent.
