Two Women collapse in Kasungu after being fired by teargas

Two women have been rushed to Kasungu district hospital after fainting due teargas fired by the police.

This follows running battles between police and bicycle taxi operators who are protesting against the reintroduction of bicycle taxi fees.

The situation is still tense as the protests have spread to various sections of the town bringing business to a stand still.
