Fountain of Victory Ministries has called on the church to be in the forefront in addressing the current political impulse in the country.

The remarks have been made by Director of International affairs for the ministry Bishop Richard Kwatiwani.

Kwatiwani said there is need for the church to pray against the current political unrest in the country.

Aftermath of May 21 elections citizens and police have been on running battles as most claim the polls were not free, fair and credible as expected, prompting stakeholders calling for resignation of Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Jane Ansah.

Meanwhile, Malawi Congress Party (MCP) leader Lazarus Chakwera and United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Saulos Chilima are seeking nullification of the presidential polls.
