Non-Government Organization (NGO) Gender Coordination Network (GCN) has said justice for Nsundwe rape victims will be top of their agenda during this year’s 16 Days of activism against gender-based violence.

Network Chairperson Barbara Banda said they want to see investigations into the matter expedited.

Minister of Gender, Mary Navicha acknowledged there is need to improve justice services for women and girls in the country.

It is reported that in October, police officers who were deployed at Msundwe to keep calm and order raped and tortured women in revenge of one of their own who was stoned to death by Msundwe people.

No arrest have been made so far.
