Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs has summoned Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to give the nation an update on the issue of 1.7 Billion Kwacha which implicates former head of state Dr. Bakili Muluzi.
Kezzie Msukwa, Chairperson for the Parliamenatry legal Affairs Committee confirmed the development.
Msukwa added that the graft bursting body should either execute or dismiss the former head of state if it has no interest in prosecuting him.
The development comes as the case has taken ten years without being concluded.
In the past ten years only one witness has testified in court out of the 30 witnesses which the state has planned to parade.
