Diamond Platnumz’s step-sister Mwanajuma Abdul Juma aka Queen Darleen is officially off the singles club.

The Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) signee tied the knot in a luxurious private wedding a few days ago to businessman Isihaka Mtoro.

The wedding came as a surprise to her fans and some of her friends as the Kijuso crooner had never at any time revealed anything on her now newly wedded husband.

Sasa hivi ni maamuzi yangu mwenyewe kupost au kutopost sababu kupost ni maamuzi ya mtu mwenyewe,” she said during an interview with Wasafi TV.

Although not many of his family members attended her wedding including her brother Diamond, Darleen’s eldest sister Esma took to Instagram to congratulate her on her wedding.

“Biharusi wangu Mungu hamtupi mja wake siamini wallah shemeji kila siku nampanga leo kafanya kweli Mungu akadumishe ndoa yako ndugu yako daah ningekuwepo jana ningelia sana, Shem umenisha sana Darleen nakwita tulia ndugu yangu mpende mumeo ndio rafiki yako huyo ndugu yako,” wrote Esma.

Sandrah, Diamond’s mother also jotted down a congratulatory message for her daughter on Instagram.

“Naikumbuka Simu Yako Ya Jana Asubui Na Hakika Mungu Ametimiza Mlichokiamua Asubui Ile…Mashaalah Mashaalah Mashaalah Darleen. Ndoa iwe na amani inshaallah,” wrote Bi Sandra.

Diamond’s wedding

Opening up about her brother’s wedding plans with Kenyan beauty Tanasha Donna a few weeks ago, she emphasized that Diamond will not be tying the knot anytime soon.

According to the Touch hitmaker, the WCB boss is not ready to settle down.

“He and I often talk about matters of marriage and relationships. Diamond fears ‘being in a marital cage’. He says he wants to settle down when he is ready, and I don’t think he is currently up for it,” said Darleen.

Her position echoes that of Dar es Salaam regional commissioner, Paul Makonda, who not too long ago, also advised the WCB CEO against walking down the aisle.

“When you are a male artiste whose fans largely comprise women, then know that if you marry, all the women who adore you will lose interest in you and your music. Sometimes it leaves you wondering whether it was even possible to marry all of them,” said Makonda.
