Legal analyst Justin Dzonzi has advised the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to wait for the presidential election case verdict before probing the Judges Bribery attempts case.
Dzonzi’s comments came in following a complaint lodged by the chief Justice Andrew Nyirenda to the graft bursting body that some individuals had been trying to bribe judges hearing the election case.
According to Nyirenda’s complaint, some influential people in the corporate and political circles are reported to be behind the attempts to bribe the judges with huge amounts of money.
Dzonzi said it will be best if ACB will wait for the court judgment so to prevent an escalation of the prevailing political tension in the country.
