Lilongwe Police confirmed that two people have been killed and a dozen others injured yesterday afternoon after part of a brick-wall perimeter fence around city council resthouse collapsed in stormy rains

Earlier, Director of Climate Change and Meteorological Services, Joram Nkhokwe, warned that Malawi would experience heavy rains in the form of thunder storms in the central and the northern regions for a few days coming.

Yesterday afternoon in Lilongwe experienced heavy rains and caused flood around the city and caused serious discomfort.
