Livingstonia Synod endorses MCP-UTM Alliance

Livingstonia Synod of the CCAP Church has endorsed the alliance of the main opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP) of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and the United Transformation Movement (UTM) of Dr. Saulos Chilima.
Livingstonia Synod General Secretary Reverend Levi Nyondo said this during the signing ceremony of the UTM/MCP alliance currently underway at Kamuzu Institute of Sports in the capital Lilongwe.
Nyondo said the wish of the church that the DPP government should go.
He added that the church wants Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Justice Jane Ansah to resign.
