Malawi Elections Commission (MEC) has announced official campaign period of the forthcoming fresh presidential polls.
Briefing the media this morning at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre, MEC chairperson Justice Jane Ansah said the commission has slated May 2 to June 30 as official dates for campaign.
The Commission is in the process of identifying printer for the ballot papers.
MEC has removed constituency tally centers by order of court, meaning that tallying will take place at district level.
Results will then be announced within 8days following closure of polling.
