Government has said it is considering ways of keeping learners engaged academically as schools might delay to open due to Covid-19 threats.
President Peter Mutharika declared a state of national disaster among other he banned gathering of more than 100 people.
Minister of education William Susuwele Banda said the official communication on the matter will be shared.
According to Banda, the reason is to make sure that students are not staying idle in their respective homes amid the outbreak.
Banda, who is also a member of a special ministerial committee on coronavirus, visited Dedza Border on Monday and added that government will not shutdown the borders completely for now
