According to information gathered on a social media platform in which a post was made known on Twitter by, Akin Abayomi, the Lagos state commissioner for health.

Abayomi also stated that Lagos has recorded 82 coronavirus cases, which is the highest toll recorded by any state in the country.

He wrote;

“Total #COVID19 Lagos cases is now 82. 8 patients have so far been discharged following their full recovery. One of the confirmed case who is an American citizen has been evacuated to USA.”
