Founder and Managing Director for World Auto Parts Elson Moses Makhwira has urged Malawians to be engaged in running small scale businesses and not to leave to  the foreigners like Asians of origin such as Indians, Chinese and Pakistanis.

Speaking in an interview Makhwira said he started the shop after seeing that most Malawians shun doing business and left to foreign investors who cannot develop this country economically.

“Malawians should not afraid doing small and Medium Enterprises so that the country should developed like other countries,” he said.

World Auto Parts shop which was started in February 27, 2007 sells Motor Vehicle spares parts, Motor vehicle Tyres, Excide Batteries, Lubricants,  Car Engines at affordable prices so that customers can afford to buy.

Before selling spare Parts he was buying and selling second hand Car from Dubai but after seeing that they was no much profits he ventured into spare parts business.

He said another reason why he started selling spare parts was that he has no permanent place for the business as Blantyre City Council (BCC)  were shifting them from one place to another

“I had also some challenges in selling cars like high taxes from MRA, inflation, Fuel scarcity  just to mention but a few.

Commenting on Coronavirus Makhwira said it has heavily affected the business sector in the country as customers are feared to travel from villages to town to buy spare parts fearing to be affected by the pandemic.

The company is located along Chipembere High Way in Ibrahim House opposite H. Amosi Building in Limbe.
