A renewed appeal has gone out to government to consider reducing tax on internet charges.
The appeal from the Information and communications technology (ICT) Association of Malawi comes as due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most schools are offering online lessons to learners.
ICT Association of Malawi President Bram Fudzulani has argued that by reducing tax, internet services will be made accessible to more students who will in turn easily access the online lessons.
According to Fudzulani e-learning can only be achieved with the availability of cheap and reliable internet services.
