In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife and father-in-law at their house in Doultabad area of Vikarabad district in Telangana on Monday.

The man was upset after his wife refused to return to his home in Champapet area of Hyderabad in Telangana.

As per a report in Times of India, the accused has been identified as 32-year-old Syed Kaleem, who has a cycle repairing shop. The victims have been identified as 32-year-old Haji Baeguma and her father Mohammed Abdul Gaffar.

Kaleem had married Haji Begum 13 years back. The woman had left Hyderabad along with her two sons to live with her parents in Balampet in Doultabad.

“The victim Haji Begum was facing financial difficulties as Kaleem’s income was not sufficient to run the house. Upset with this, she later moved to her parents’ house with the kids,” said Nageswara Rao, Kodangal Circle Inspector.

Kaleem had gone to his in-law’s house on Monday to request Haji Begum to return home from Champapet but she did not agree.

“During this, an argument took place and the accused stabbed Haji Begum multiple times. When Begum’s father Abdul Gaffar tried to intervene, Kaleem stabbed him too. The two died on the spot. The accused was arrested from the spot,” the inspector added.
