Nasty C has opened up about how he was once a victim of police racial profiling in the United States.

The rapper revealed a series of unfortunate experiences with American cops.

The They Don’t hitmaker said that he was shooting a video in New York and was stuck on the roof.

According to Nasty C, 14 police officers confronted the crew and made them stand in a line. They pulled out the crew’s identification documents while searching them.

The rapper recalls how fearful he was as there “wasn’t even one black cop”. Nasty C said the situation in South Africa is nothing compared to what black people go through in America.

The award-winning rapper recently collaborated with US rapper T.I on a song addressing police brutality.

Briefly.co.za reported that he recently performed the track on hit US show, Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The song has been well-received in the States. Nasty has also been collaborating with international superstar DJ Whoo Kid.

He recently surprised his fans with a dope mixtape titled Zulu featuring DJ Whoo Kid.
