In South Africa, a female constable died after she was alleged to have been shot by a colleague.
According to News24, the incident happened while the two officers were trying to shoot at suspects in Daveyton on Thursday.
Reports add that the colleague was taking aim at suspects when the constable was hit.
Circumstances around the shooting are still unclear, however, authorities were still on the scene by the time of publishing this news story.
Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) spokesperson Ndileka Cola told local reporters that it was currently conducting preliminary investigations on the scene.
