Senior Pastor and founder of the “Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua has attracted the attention of the World Health Organization (WHO) after he supposedly healed a Coronavirus patient.
The patient, a Cameroonian Medical Doctor Kameni Pierre, stated that “he received his healing after he called in for prayers during an interactive programme on Emmanuel TV from the isolation center which he had been admitted”.
According to Doctor Kameni, “he displayed his result on the screen and before he knew it, he vomited the disease out of his system while still receiving prayers from the Clergyman”.
Reacting to the news, the Director-General of the WHO, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus who had been bombarded with questions regarding the news, said “faith and science should work together to produce better and stable results”.
Adding that, “there are many religious leaders who would advise their followers to follow their faith and at the same time use science as a means of support. Therefore, the WHO is asking all religious leaders to join hands in the fight against the virus and save as much lives as possible”.
Also reacting to the news the WHO Executive Director of Health Emergencies, Dr. Michael Ryan stated that “the health agency is willing and ready to to collaborate with the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) to help fight the deadly virus”.
