Bodyguard of former President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, Norman Chisale has cried foul following his re-arrest barely minutes after being granted bail by the Lilongwe Magistrate Court.

Chisale was arrested on Tuesday and was charged with two counts of Money laundering and fraud.

On Friday, Senior Resident Magistrate Violet Chipao granted Chisale bail after paying MK10 million bail bond.

But just after being released, the law enforcers re-arrested Chisale on a charge of assault which took place in Blantyre.

This prompted Chisale to react in anger.

“It’s too much. I am a person too and I feel pain,” said Chisale while refusing to be taken into custody again.

Meanwhile Chisale is being taken to Blantyre.
