Reports reaching this publication indicate that Southern Region Water Board and Zomba Zone Office has been temporarily closed following a confirmed covid-19 case.
According to a statement the head office will be closed for the next 14 days starting from August 4.
The statement continued that the closure of the office is a way of adhering preventive measures imposed by the government and halting further spread of the virus.
The office has since urged its customers to use online and mobile platforms to pay bills and buy prepaid water tokens.
