Reports reaching this publication indicate that Director of Youth for the former ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Yona Mlotha has been arrested.
Mlotha has been picked by police in Blantyre this morning.
Southern region police spokesperson Ramsey Mushani confirmed the arrest of Mlotha who upon his arrest was the Director of youth for the south.
However Mushani could not say more details.
He only said Mlotha has been arrested on alleged crimes he committed.
