Some concerned youth cadets for the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) are demanding for the immediate firing from the party Brown Mpinganjira.

The development follows a move by the party to appoint Mpinganjira as Interim spokesperson and former Chiradzulu East legislator Henry Mussa as his deputy.

The grouping which is led by Mapanga Ward councillor Emmanuel Matewere has since threatened to hold national wide protest on August 28, 2020.

The group argues that Mpinganjira is a political prostitutes and will not add the much needed value to the party.

“We are okay with honourable Mussa because he is one of the trustees of the party.

“But for Mpinganjira, this is not what we wanted. He is a recycled politician who has been to almost every political party and he does not have any institutional memory of the party,” Matewere was quoted in the Nation Publications Limited.

Effort to talk to Mpinganjira proved futile.

DPP was booted out of power by Tonse Alliance led by Dr. Lazarus Chakwera during the fresh Presidential polls held on June 23, 2020.

Since then the party is struggling when it comes to leadership wise as others want Peter Mutharika to resign while others are against the call.
