The body of a 22-year-old woman has been found at a dumping site in South Africa on the Cape Flats.
Police Spokesperson, Noloyiso Rwexana, says a case of murder has been opened.
“According to reports, police were alerted to the discovery of the deceased by the community. Upon their arrival they find her [body] at a dumping site with head injuries. The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation with no arrests so far.”
Meanwhile, police in the Eastern Cape are investigating the murder of a 20-year-old woman, allegedly at the hands of her boyfriend.

The police’s Tembinkosi Kinana says a 23-year-old suspect is being investigated for her death.
Kinana says, “The suspect is alleged to have attempted suicide immediately after committing this particular crime is currently admitted in hospital. Once he is discharged the police will charge him with murder.”
