The Chamber for Small and Medium Business Association in Malawi (CSMBAM) has asked government to ask Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) to speed up the process of certifying their products.
President for the Association James Chiutsi said currently it takes long time for their products to be certified by MBS which is affecting their beefiness.
“We urge government to engage MBS to ensure that certification process is done fast. As an Association we are confident that this current government is able to listen to our concern than the previous administration hence we are confident that our concern will heard,” he said.
Chiutsi also commended government for promising to give them (SME’s) capital to boost their business and for advocating buy Malawian products initiative.
