A 12-year old boy has died after falling from a mango tree.

The incident happened on August, 20, 2020 at Kawanga village in Traditional Authority Kasakula.

The boy has been identified as Kalikuti Khizesi from Kawanga village in the area.

It is reported that the deceased wanted to pluck mangoes in the tree.

As fate would have it, he lost grip of the tree branch and fell down and died on the spot.

Police and medical officials from Kangolwa Health Centre rushed to the scene and postmortem conducted revealed that death was due to raptured viscera secondary to loss of blood.
