The Presidential Taskforce on COVID19 is urging the public to wear face masks properly in order to avoid contracting the virus.
Co-chairperson of the taskforce, John Phuka has made the call in their latest update on the pandemic.
It follows observations that some people tend to wear their face masks under the chin leaving their nose and mouth exposed.
In the statement Phuka encourages the public to wear a cloth mask properly by covering their nose, mouth and chin whenever they are going into crowded places.
